For this workshop, Cindy will demonstrate her techniques using her beautiful red canoe landscape, exploring how colour, light, reflections, and carefully placed glass bring a scene to life.
Each participant will receive Cindy's red canoe reference image and pattern to use for their project.
Would you prefer to create your own landscape?
You're welcome to work from a favourite photograph or another landscape that inspires you! Simply share your chosen image with Cindy beforehand so she can confirm it's suitable for the workshop.

This workshop focuses on the Glass-on-Glass (GOG) mosaic technique.
You'll create your landscape on clear glass, allowing natural light to pass through the finished piece and beautifully illuminate the colours of the glass.
I'll demonstrate the techniques I use specifically for Glass-on-Glass mosaics, including planning, glass selection, layering colour, and achieving depth while maintaining light transmission.

A Personal Note
One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is watching a mosaic come to life—not just my own, but yours as well.
During this workshop, we won't simply be assembling pieces of glass. We'll learn how to observe, interpret, and make artistic decisions that transform a photograph into an expressive mosaic.
Throughout the workshop, I'll demonstrate my approach to creating landscapes in glass, answering your questions and sharing techniques I've developed through more than twenty years of creating Glass-on-Glass mosaics.
Whether you're following my red canoe design or creating a landscape of your own, I look forward to helping you bring your artistic vision to life.
